Shippers will be required to provide the appropriate Emergency Contact details to the NGEM. End Users are required to ensure that they provide 24 Hr Emergency Contact details to their Shippers for forwarding to the NGEM.
These Emergency Contact details should include primary and back-up telephone numbers (land line and mobile), fax numbers, email addresses and contact names of those End User representatives empowered to switch off the gas to the End Users' facilities. The emergency contact number(s) provided must not be diverted to an answering machine.
Any changes to your organisation's contact details going forward must be advised to your Shipper/Supplier as a matter of urgency, using the Emergency Contact Details Form.
