24 Hour Emergency Contacts:

End Users are required to ensure that they provide 24Hr Emergency Contact details to their Shippers for forwarding to the NGEM. 

 These Emergency Contact details should include primary and back-up telephone numbers (land line and mobile), fax numbers, email addresses and contact names of those End User representatives empowered to switch off the gas to the End Users' facilities.  Please click here to submit Emergency Contact Details.

Emergency Notices:

End Users are required to implement Emergency instructions issued by the NGEM.  Such instructions may require those End Users affected by load shedding, to cease gas consumption as a mtter of priority.

Please refer to the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) Gas Legislation Guidance IGE/GL/9 which provides guidance for large gas consumers in dealing with natural gas supply emergencies. IGE/GL/9 can be viewed here.
