24 Hour Emergency Contacts: contents are as follows:

It is envisaged, subject to a Code Modification, that Shippers will be required to provide the appropriate Emergency Contact details to the NGEM, as outlined in the Code of Operations Part H, Sections 1.5 and 1.6.

Shippers should ensure that the NGEM is:

  • regularly advised of the breakdown of household/non-household End Users.
  • are provided with 24Hr Emergency Contact details.  Provide regular updates of the details if/when subject to change.  Please click here to submit Emergency Contact Details.
  • are provided with 24Hr Emergency Contact details for LDM or DM offtakes.  To included primary and back-up contact names with telephone numbers, land line and mobile.  (fax numbers, email addresses can be provided if preferred form of contact).  Provide regular updates of the details if/when subject to change.
  • aware of any priority users in their portfolio (e.g. Hospital)

The NGEM, through BGN, will conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of the Shipper supplied Emergency Contact data.

Emergency Notices:

Shipper are required to comply with the Code of Operations, and to implement Emergency Notice instructions issued by the NGEM.  Such Emergency Notices may include instructions issued to Shippers to:

  • Ronominate against those LDM sites or DM portfolios which have been identified for load shedding, and make the appropriate ZIP renominations.
  • Interrupt injection to/withdrawal from Interconnector Inventory Storage.
  • Interrupt injection into Offshore Storage.
  • Renominate, as instructed by Eirgrid (power generation Shippers only).
