A Large Network Connection Agreement (LNCA) is an agreement entered into by the Customer and Gaslink which sets out the commercial terms relating to the connection of the Customer’s site to the gas transportation network. This LNCA will capture all of the commercial terms surrounding the connection including, among others, terms relating to construction, payment, Gaslink and the Customer’s obligations, timing of connection, ownership of facilities, liabilities, capacity bookings, financial security etc. Gaslink is responsible for processing connection requests from, and developing LNCA’s with Independent Power Producers (IPP’s) and large Industrial and Commercial (I&C) customers with an annual consumption of greater than or equal to 260GWh and connection pressure of 16 barg or above.
