Aidan O'Sullivan
General Manager
Aidan O'Sullivan has over 30 years experience in the Irish gas industry during which time he was responsible for the procurement of natural gas supplies and sales to power generators and large industrial customers and the development of storage agreements at the Kinsale Head gas field. He developed the Gas Procurement Function for Bord Gais and managed its transition into a large energy trading business unit responsible for the procurement of both gas and electricity.
Having managed the establishment of Gaslink in 2007, Aidan has led the Gaslink team in enhancing competition in the natural gas market in Ireland and ensuring the safe, reliable and secure transmission of natural gas. He also plays a pivotal role in the development of an all island gas market.

Jack O'Connell
Market Arrangements Manager
Jack brings substantial industry knowledge and experience to his role. In previous positions he has been responsible for the management of distribution operations and later transmission business planning in Bord Gais. He was subsequently Commercial Manager of Bord Gais transmission at a time when the second interconnector and Northern Ireland grid development was undertaken. More recently, Jack was responsible for the development of the market rules and internal systems which facilitated the opening of hte domestic gas market for competition in 2007. He has also been active in progressing the CAG project with regulators North and South.

Liam Hearne
Technical Manager
Liam has extensive experience in the natural gas industry. His experience, spanning some 25 years, encompasses pipeline stress analysis; project management; distribution operations; design of transmission pipelines and Above Ground Installations; materials specification; pipeline integrity and safety. Liam is the Gaslink respresentative on technical related industry committees both at a National and European level.

Tim O'Brien
Regulatory Manager
Tim previously worked fo the CER where he was responsible for the commercial aspects fo the gas and electricity network regulation. Prior to this he worked for a number of well known organisations in the UK such as the Inland Revenue, the Serious Fraud Office, LIFFE and the FSA. At LIFFE (Derivatives Market) he was involved in the regulation of one of the largest financial derivatives market places in the world. Tim also worked fo the FSA, the UK's financial regulator, where he regulated major financial groups including large retail banks. Tim's responsibilites include regulatory affairs, licence compliance and risk management within Gaslink.

Adam Dowdall
Finance/IT Manager
Adam, a qualified Accountant, has a background in financial services, having joined State Street, a fund services company in the IFSC, in 1998. Working largely in the trustee services area supporting various funds and investment vehicles, he developed strong technical expertise and a focus on compliance and risk management. Adam has built up a good knowledge of the regulated utility business since joining Bord Gais in 2005 and has been instumental in the establishment of Gaslink as an effective and cost efficient response to the regulatory requirements with a particular focus on providing solutions for customer's needs.
